Las Vegas · A Local's Guide
Neighborhood guides, honest comparisons, and a local you can actually trust. For anyone deciding where in Las Vegas to build a life.
Neighborhoods
Not a listings feed. Honest, first-person guides to the places you’d actually live. I’m writing them one at a time, starting with the corner of the valley I know best.
The first full guide
Master-planned, trail-laced, and built around the sunset light hitting Red Rock. The honest version: who it fits, who it doesn’t, and the parts a listing won’t tell you.
More of the valley
Its own city at the north end of the valley, with established streets, big master-planned communities, and brand-new desert growth all under one name.
Read the North Las Vegas guideThe valley’s fastest-growing side. Newer housing, the 215 right there, and a place still assembling itself.
Read the Southwest Las Vegas guideThe valley's widest range of communities: new master-plans, a lake, hillside estates, and a historic downtown, each a different way to live.
Read the Henderson guideMurals, coffee counters, and the closest thing Vegas has to a walk-everywhere neighborhood.
Read the Downtown Arts District guideEstablished, tree-lined, and consistently the answer when someone asks about schools first.
Water where you don't expect it, and a resort-quiet pace year-round.
